Mead Lumber is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

Mead Lumber Company is a leading provider of building products to professional contractors, and remodelers. We continue to grow and are in search of driven individuals who desire an opportunity to apply and strengthen their skills.

As a Sales Support Associate you will be responsible for various sales duties, but the main role is to support our Outside Sales Representatives selling hardware, building materials, and lumber to customers.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Develop a working knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
  • Process receiving documents and match up invoices for payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer telephone professionally and pleasantly.
  • Listen to and assist customers.
  • Assist with delivery of merchandise, if needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to form strong relationships with customers.
  • React quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
  • General knowledge of office equipment.
  • Self motivated and organized. 
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
